Our Story

The Child Development Institute (CDI) was founded by Keith and Narelle Hills, inspired by their experiences raising their son, Greg, who was later diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). For much of Greg’s life, they struggled without a clear diagnosis or effective support, making his journey through school and social life challenging.

Determined to find solutions, Keith and Narelle discovered evidence-based interventions, which inspired their vision to help other families. They established CDI to ensure no child or family would face the same struggles without access to professional support.

Today, CDI offers a wide range of allied health services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, and more, designed to support children with diverse developmental needs. By providing evidence-based care and expert guidance, CDI empowers families to create opportunities for children to thrive and reach their full potential.
